READY FOR 2017

HAPPY NEW YEAR LOVES!

Your girl was sick on New Years Even, again. Nowhere near as sickly as last year — thank god — but it did mess with our plans a bit. But it didn’t stop me from drinking champagne…?

Getting dressed up and heading out to celebrate made me feel good for the time being. I am in love with the details that brought this outfit together.

CLOTHES :

First, SOCIAL DECAY. Crazy comfy + cute. Same brand as my favorite pullovers, if you haven’t seen yet, click HERE. I skipped the sequins this year, but didn’t skimp on shine. This PVC skirt is from Urban Outfitters and adds an unusual texture (my fav) to any outfit. Coupled with my Mollie Dr. Martens boots. These boots are killer. I love their unique punk look, patent leather + satin shoestrings. Plus, they give me a few extra inches. Which I need. Ms. 5’2 1/2” and shrinking (yes I keep the quarter inch). I don’t care if it’s -10 degrees, denim jackets are my fav. This one especially — linked below! I think I’ve worn it every day since I’ve bought it. To keep warm I also had a blanket scarf (a gift from Kev’s aunt, thank you!!!).

ACESSORIES :

These adorable hair clips made their appearance in my FALL HAUL — I finally got to style them, and they were super fitting for NYE! I think I will be searching for more hair accessories and sharing them with you soon! #laynas2017trend I of course stacked rings, nothin new. My latest ring purchase was from Stargaze Jewelry — check them out! Layers two. necklaces, my sole diamond necklace (that I never take off) + the Tiffany T necklace, that I call the “smile necklace”.
