Nicole Miller is my go-to for dresses for all occasions.

Finding the perfect dress for an occasion is always difficult. Work, weddings, birthdays, holidays — even my senior prom dress (tbt) was Nicole Miller! NM has a great variety of styles — from simple and versatile to elaborate and striking.While these shots were taken 3-4 years ago, the Nicole Miller gowns are timeless and do not go out of style.

I chose a black sequin NM gown for my parent’s 25 year anniversary vow renewals (3 years ago). I often stay away from sequins because of their innate capacity to look tacky if not done right. However, Nicole Miller has mastered the art of tasteful sequin detail with super-thin spaghetti straps, deep (but not too deep V-cut), and a small side slit.

There is a good chance I will be wearing Nicole Miller at Fordham’s Senior Ball too. We’ll see… (UPDATE: I didn’t wear it to Fordham’s Senior Ball, but I will be wearing a Nicole Miller gown to Kevin’s Senior Formal…)
