Hey loves!!
I know people either love or loathe Valentines Day but… I have always loved it. And I have my parents to thank for that because they always made sure to write cute cards and get cute V Day socks (or something along those lines) and chocolates! I also just love ‘love’, sooo any excuse to write people cute little notes for people I care about & get them a little something is fun to me. So this year, even if you hate it — write someone a cute note and eat some candy!!
But c’mon, don’t you guys have the best memories from elementary school when you made a little mailbox out of a shoebox and everyone bought tiny valentines and handed them out!? Just me? Okay, cool.
Also, it’s another reason to dress up — and you all know I love that!!
My two favorite colors are black and red so I especially love this look. I bought the slip maxi dress + mesh bomber at Once Upon A Skirt. I couldn’t find these exact pieces since I bought them a little while ago, but I linked similar ones below for you guys! I dressed up this silk maxi dress + mesh bomber with Steve Madden ‘Edit’ boots (I also really needed the hight for the maxi ?). These boots are surprisingly both comfortable and affordable. I carried my Loeffler Randall clutch for an added texture, and of course had my classic Chan Luu wrap bracelet on my wrist. I also had a pair of sunnies + my silver rings.
I always end up losing my Kat Von D matte lipstick and eyeliner when I buy the full size product because I bring it everywhere with me, so this mini set is PERFECT for me. It is the same price as one of my favorite (best in the world) tattoo liners, and comes with both liner + lip. I highly recommend! (Also makes a great Valentine’s Day gift!!)
