A healthcare system for children with special needs, second to none.
I wanted to share with you all a children’s hospital I’ve worked with that does incredible things for children with severe medical complexities.
“St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children is a very special medical facility providing unique care for a large population of NYC’s most vulnerable children and their families. For more than 140 years, St. Mary’s has served and NYC’s only post-acute care for the city’s most medically-complex children with special needs — saving lives and enhancing the quality of life for young ones and their families.
As a national leader in short-term and long-term care for children with medical complexities, St. Mary’s offers intensive rehabilitation, inpatient and in-home care, pediatric feeding programs, and more — in and around the NYC metropolitan area. It takes a very special group of nurses, doctors, therapists, volunteers and YOU! St. Mary’s is truly a place where big hearts help little patients.”
Each of my visits to St. Mary’s has inspired me and given me a new perspective on just how many things I take for granted on a daily basis. Whether it is being able to walk or to speak, there is a child at St. Mary’s making great progress to achieve, what may have seemed impossible to them, with the help of the St. Mary’s loving, caring, and dedicated staff.
No donation is too small and every single one counts towards helping these children better their lives. Please read more inspiring stores HERE, buy tickets to be a part of Heart of the Holidays event with Gavin DeGraw HERE, and if you’d like to donate any amount to St. Mary’s you can do so HERE.
Thank you all in advance!?
XO,
L
