Me wearing color? Must be in the south. I’d be lying to you if I told you I didn’t buy this dress with the sole intention to wear it in during my month WFH stint in Charleston. I decided to leave my all-black wardrobe home for the summer.
This Charleston inspired green dress is crazy comfortable + flattering. Definitely size up if you have a booty like me because those smocked details are not as elastic as I imagined. Keeping true to my style — I combined the femininity of the dress with bright white sneakers. My favorite shoes ever. BECAUSE they allow me to look at regular-height people in the eyes… Windsor Smith platforms. Not everyone is a fan of them but, these are a must when you’re a 5’2 shrimp.
This bag is from last summer BUT I found a similar one and actually like it even more ((because it also comes in black!!)) Way more versatile and has a zipper so your wallet won’t fall out while prancing around like mine did. 🙃
And although the sun was going down, you know I had to wear sunglasses. I thrifted these a while ago but linked a smilier and much more affordable pair! I got that from my momma — Kathy Fable goes nowhere without sunglasses and uses them to hold hair back once the sun goes down.
If I can get my life together and shoot more… I’d like to get back into style and fashion blogging. No promises though.
xxo,
L
