I absolutely love unique pieces of clothing. So when I came across Needle Little Yarn Shop’s handmade styles I was ecstatic. I also love talented people who work their butt’s off!
I came across NLYS on Instagram about a week before vacation and fell in love — I had to have their tops for my trip. Ariana, the talent behind the adorable knit crop tops, received my order and told me she would make sure they were done before I left — which was beyond sweet of her.
I chose the Shell Stitch Halter in Olive Green (also shown in 5. FOOD) & the Fishnet Halter in Amber Rose — and I absolutely love both. These tops are super-soft and fit like a glove because of the adjustable ties. Since the yarn is a substantial material, these pieces can definitely be worn into the fall with proper layering.
I styled the Shell Stitch Halter with black high-wasted jean shorts, black blouse tied around my waist, a green PJK vest, black gladiator sandals. Since this was a traveling day I wanted to make sure I had enough layers for any weather we would encounter. I accessorized with a black & silver Chan Luu wrap bracelet, and a black floppy hat.
I chose a bright white skort & sweater to wear with the Fishnet Halter to make the rose color the focal point — also to accent my tan, duh. I wanted a neutral shoe that wouldn’t take the focus away from the outfit, so I chose simple tan wicker wedges. I stacked three bracelets as accents, and of course had my rings on.
When you spend $75.00 or more, you get a pair of free barefoot sandals in the color of your choosing — cream, white, black, amber rose, or olive green! I chose white which are shown above (covered in sand + salt water).
