If there is only one thing you do this summer… make sure to hike the Labyrinth + Lemon Squeeze trail.
All trails located on the Mohonk Preserve are sublime, but I found this trail to be the most gratifying. Not only are the views awe-inspiring, but this challenging ~5 mile hike through, under, and over enormous slabs of stone leaves you feeling both physically accomplished and mentally rewarded.
You’ll encounter steep steps, a stroll around the gorgeous Mohonk Mountain House and lake, an athletic rock scramble, squeezing yourself between/under/around boulders, climbing up ‘The Crevice’, and stunning views at a max elevation of 1,617 ft above sea level.
