The love that I have for Iceland + this trip is unmatched. I have never seen such a vast and stunning landscape, with so few people. (I’m just kidding that’s not why I loved it, Icelandic people were lovely). But in all seriousness, living out of a van — if only for 4 days — made this trip one of my favorites. Not only was it a country I’ve never been to, it was also my first time experiencing #vanlife. Living out of a van seems to be crazy popular right now and this trip got me thinking… maybe van life is for me…
…just kidding I couldn’t live full-time in a van, where would Nova and Nero go!? However, I absolutely will travel out of a van again. It was so convenient to have everything you need with you at all times, no unpacking and repacking, checking in, checking out. Just rolling around, taking it all in.
I also have a soft spot for road trips. You get to see everything up close. The tiny neighborhoods, the wildlife, the random beautiful places that not even instagram knows about. You get to decide just to randomly stop on the highway, get out, and dance in the middle of the road. (That will be in Iceland vlog 3 or 4). I will forever be nostalgic for this trip.
