I was one of the last 10 people to get free tickets to the Museum of Ice Cream!
Prying myself from my comfy bed on a rainy Friday morning for this adventure was totally worth it. There is no doubt that I am obsessed with ice cream. Pair that with the fact that my cousin, Alessandra (who is equally infatuated with ice cream), just happened to be visiting the week of MOIC’s opening — fate or coincidence…?
From the insanely long line and running into a high school friend, to edible helium bubbles and a pool filled with sprinkles, to tastebud altering candies and adorable ice cream cone pins — today is going to be hard to beat. I do believe that it lived up to all of the hype!
Seeing art and food, two of my favorite worlds collide was so satisfying. I’m almost sad I didn’t think of the Museum of Ice Cream myself. ?
