Nicole Miller’s NYFW 2020 show was all about rich high-end fabrics + embellishments with an edge :: ROCK N’ ROYALTY. I of course went with an all-black look featuring, my favorite detail, embroidery. It doesn’t get much better than black + white + embroidery for me… AND NM’s horoscope dress IS ON SALE! So go scoop it before they’re all sold out!
I paired this horoscope dress with a smooth black ((stolen from KQF’s closet)) Yansi Fugel duster. The jacket is made for a 5’9″ ((minimum)) woman and I am 5’2″. 🙃🍤 Which meant I had to wear platforms, an almost daily occurrence for me anyways… I chose these boots for their red laces to compliment the red lip.
ROCK N’ ROYALTY.
However, my favorite detail of all is this one of a kind b u t t e r y leather handbag from, of course… Nicole Miller. Nicole had these made for her last runway show and somehow I was lucky enough to get my hands on one. You won’t find them on their site but if you head to their 20th floor stunning showroom in the heart of Manhattan’s Garment district, you’ll find a sea-foam green one I also have my eye on. While I had planned on putting together a crazy eye-catching outfit for this show — I can never stay away from an all-black-ensemble for too long. NYFW 2020 with NICOLE MILLER was an incredible show. This year’s even more special because two of my friends work @ NM so we got to hangout backstage afterwards + celebrate. Love you Lyss + Julia.
MY FAVORITE NM NYFW SHOW LOOKS :: ROCK N’ ROYALTY
Which is your favorite look from the show? I will own that burnout velvet dress as soon as it comes out. Just sayin’. Basically I will be buying all of the dresses. Nicole Miller is becoming my uniform — just like it is my Mom’s… I guess it is true. We turn into our parents. 🖤
